Da muss man schon schmerzfrei für sein. Einen solch massiven Umbau in New Jersey machen lassen ohne Support in Deutschland.

Legal in Deutschland nicht fahrbar....immer hoffen das die Polizei dich nicht ran bekommt...ZR1 alles legal und der Kopf ist frei.
1000PS auf der Straße ist wie Selbstmord. Kann kaum meine ZR1 mit 650PS fahren. Einfach zu viel.

COPO bezieht sich nicht nur auf eine besondere Motorisierung.
Meine 71iger BB ist zum Beispiel eine COPO (documented), da es die Farbcombi 71 nicht zu bestellen gab.
So gab es COPO Bestellungen schon bei der C1, einige C2 und C3. Auch bei den neueren Modellen dürfte das der Fall sein (hab da natürlich keine Ahnung).
Among the best known of COPO programs was the one that yielded 1969 Camaros and Chevelles fitted with the Corvette-style L72 engine, a 425-horsepower beast not listed as an option for those models. Most of the cars that got the 427-cid big-blocks were ordered by Yenko Chevrolet in Canonsburg, Pa., and decked out as Yenko Supercars.
The mundane reality is that the COPO program was more typically used to order variations like special color combinations.
