heute morgen bekam ich eine ganz interessante Mail von Bob Larsons Sohn,
über die ich mich so freute, das ich sie mal veröffentliche.
Hier mal die Mail:

Hallo,


I am the one and only son of Robert Henry Larson, my name is Robert Paul Larson. I was speaking with my father on the phone last night and he said he saw the white car on the internet at a neighbors house the other day and told me to check it out. I googled Larson turbo car and found your video, I knew the second I saw it that it was the real deal. I watched the video and it brought back memories of driving around with my father in that car, he often drove very fast, so his driving and his cars left quite an impression on me. I used to go with my parents to watch that car race the quarter mile track at Miland (https://www.milandragway.com/). Anyway, I'll tell you some history about the company and the cars. My father began Larson Engineering back in the 60's after working for several years for a local fabrication shop in Dearborn, MI. He did alot of prototype engine work for the big 3 (Ford mostly) and knew all the Ford engineers at the world headquarters in Dearborn. As for the cars, you have one of the original 3 vettes, there was also a copper one and a brown hatchback station wagon. The copper car has all custom copper engine cover parts and is currently owned by a relative and I believe is for sale in Naples, FL. I'll have to get a hold and him to see if he is still selling it if you are interested. As for the brown car, the body style was unique, it had the back end of a station wagon with a flip up glass rear door, I'm not sure what ever happened to that car, I'll have to ask my father. Also, there was a forth Corvette he was working on that was supposed to be purple, but was never completed as he retired in 1995. I believe the machine salesman (Clyde), who you may have dealt with has the body for that car. If you like his Corvette, you need to check out his first car, he hand built this hot rod when he was 17 (https://thehotrodsofdearborn.com/larson1.html). That car was in the first autorama (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autorama) and has won numerous awards ever since. Anyway, my father just turned 80 earlier this month, my wife and I went down to Florida to visit him and my mother, they split there time between Michigan and Florida, to avoid the harsh MI winters. I'm curious how you found out about this car and ended up buying it and am looking forward to reading your story.
