Ich hab die Übung ja schon hinter mir und hier mal die Empfehlung (Auszüge) von Wilcox die ich deswegen kontaktiert hatte :
Hi Frank-
I was not aware you purchased the Al Knoch Dash pad. The answer to your
problem is not a cap, you'll be utterly disappointed. The answer is the
Corvette America Upper pad and if you look at the pictures I posted of the
1971 we restored you'll see why.
In the listing for the dash pads from the corvette forum special prices we
list two pads... The Corvette America Brand and the Al Knoch brand. If you
look at the links for these pads you'll notice we have an arrow pointing
toward the Corvette America Brand stating "our personal choice" If open the
link up we also state, "this is the only brand we install in our shop".
Dash Pad Caps... You'll be wasting your money on one. I would not tell you
this if I was not fully sure of it. DO not purchase a cap and save your
money for the full pad only use the Corvette America brand and it will fit.
