Report Summary
Below are the confidential comments and professional opinion of our chief editor, who has thoroughly reviewed the contents of your report and accompanying photographs.
Bernd, This report is confidential. It is prepared for you exclusively and is not to be shared without our express, written permission. The condition of this would best be described as a good 'Driver'; or, condition (#3- ) leaning towards (#3). The re-paint has some nice shine, but it does seem to have been done on a budget and is not without issues. The body has some wear and there are prior repairs evident, but generally the car is clean and presentable. The interior is much the same; generally in good (not great) condition overall, but certainly usable 'as-is'. The (matching) engine ran out well (but there are some notes regarding it and the road test) and the systems are largely working as they should. The underside (from our limited vantage point) is solid and clean thanks to some recent 'rattle-can' work but there are some signs of mixed maintenance (like dried bushings next to new ones, etc) that give an indication that some 'sorting' may be required if the car is to see more 'day to day' use. The Title was present but no factory paperwork or supporting documentation (NCRS, Bloomington, etc.) was seen. So a car that can be driven and enjoyed without the fear of every passing shower or stray pebble; it just comes down to what you're looking for and what the Seller is asking you to pay for it. As far as figures go on this we feel that, considering its current condition and level of equipment, you are doing OK if you're talking numbers in the $30,000 - $32,000 range. The Inspector got a new camera and really wanted to take it for a good 'test drive' for you; he got you over 100 photos!! So please be sure to study the written information, the notes and all of the photos thoroughly before making your decision. If you do decide to proceed with the purchase and you need help with the drafting of a 'purchase agreement', handling the safe transfer of funds, trucking arrangements to get the car to the nearest port and of course shipping to Germany contact our parent company (http://www.BuyerServicesInternational.com) who can help you with everything. Customer Service Team Automobile Inspections, LLC PS: Check out this amazing Collector Car valuing tool (http://www.Hi-Bid.com), they have a FREE trial offer on this amazing trade resource for a limited time!
