Anleitung: Crossfire ECM PROM Austausch auf Hypertech Street Runner 11721
#7
Hier noch der Vollständigkeit halber ein paar Produktbeschreibungen und Käufermeinungen zu dem Chip:

Produktbeschreibungen:
"The Street Runner Power Chip is designed for daily street driving or competition in unmodified vehicles using a stock thermostat. The Street Runner Power Chip contains Hypertech’s powerful engine tuning information to deliver maximum power at full throttle (with increased boost pressures on turbocharged cars). The Street Runner also raises RPM for torque converter lock-up, producing better driveability and smoother shifting. Mileage and emissions during ordinary daily driving are not affected. The Street Runner Power Chip puts fun and excitement in your driving and gives you the extra power you need for passing, pulling, or maneuvering out of a tight situation."

"Would you like to reduce your 0-60 elapsed times by almost a ½ second, add up to 20 horsepower to your engine without a single modification or have your Corvette be 2.6 car lengths faster? You can realize these improvements by installing the Hypertech Power Chip. At wide open throttle, the Power Chip selects an optimum spark advance and air/fuel ratio, thereby by allowing the engine to perform way beyond the limitations imposed by the stock chip. And because the Power Chip only affects the wide open throttle operation, fuel economy is unaffected. The Hypertech Power Chip is available in 2 types. Street Runner is designed for stock or slightly modified Corvettes and will yield the results mentioned above. Thermo Master has been further modified to allow the use of a cooler thermostat (160 degrees). A cooler engine, of course, will make more power than a hot engine. "

Erfahrungsberichte:
"This chip did wonders with my '82 crossfire injection Corvette. Not because of an improvement in horsepower so much as a huge improvement in overall smoothness and drivability of the car overall. Idle is now perfect. Transmission shifts are smooth and lockup problems a thing of the past. Nice job!!!"

"I believe there is more power from the chip when you accelerate hard. when driving in forth gear it changes down and accelerates. very happy with it. Great value "

"Plug and play. This is the only choice for 1982 Vettes."

"Just try to find another prom chip for a crossfire 1982 corvette... odds are you will only have one or two other choices. For the price this is a great chip. The lockup torque converter change alone is reason enough to get this chip. It delays lockup most noticeably in overdrive. Doesnt seem to mind regular octane although if you accidentaly grab the wrong one at the pump. Overall, im happy."
Das kurze Stück kann man eigentlich auch fahren ...  Burnout
